Our proprietary engineering process ensures you receive an outstanding product that is suitable for any light commercial or residential installation.
Extremely stable and free of large voids
Lumber quality varies and there can be significant differences based on where the trees were harvested. Our floors contain northern hardwood with grain that is more consistent than southern hardwood.
The plywood core of our floors is exterior-grade Baltic Birch. Its multilayered construction is extremely stable and free of the large voids found in many of our competitors’ products. Our plywood core features structurally superior joints that are solid or finger jointed to prevent internal fractures. This ensures that no visually unappealing white lines appear on the face of the prefinished product.
Plus, our hardwood wear layers are sourced from the best specialty mills in the world, ensuring the highest possible quality and consistency for each species, grade and cut type.
Indistinguishable from solid hardwood products
The hardwood wear layer on all of our products is sawn, not peeled like the thinner wear layers found in many lower quality and composite alternatives.
This process delivers a wear layer that can be sanded and refinished just as many times as that of solid hardwood, making the life expectancy and appearance indistinguishable from solid hardwood products.
Our proprietary engineering process, coupled with a sawn hardwood wear layer, creates a stunning floor that is suitable for any light commercial or residential installation.
My Owens floors have outperformed my expectations. They have been installed for five years and look as luxurious and fresh as they did when they were new.” Joel Wilson, Homeowner
